To strengthen our Finance, Control and Legal (FC&L) team, we are looking for a Business Analyst in Chile.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Chile FC&L Functional Relationship Manager (FRM) based in Macul, you will be responsible for the deployment and support of one or several products within the Finance, Control and Legal stream, supporting both Chile and LATAM countries. Your role is critical to bringing innovation to finance by exploring new technologies, eradicating business disruptions in operations, and enabling efficiency in operations in LATAM.
A day in the life of...
•Provide day-to-day support to Finance and Legal end users across LATAM.
•Implement finance and legal technology solutions to meet business goals and objectives.
•Support business integration initiatives including Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestures.
•Support Digital Transformation within Finance and Legal IS/IT.
•Deliver IS/IT Finance and Legal projects on time and within budget.
•Translate technical requirements into functional specifications for the business finance and Legal teams.
•Support Period End Close and forecasting activities performed by the markets ensuring efficient use and adequate performance of the relevant IT tools.
•Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
•Deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams.
•Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.
•Ability to drive continuous improvement.
What will make you successful
•Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred.
•5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area.
•Project management experience.
•Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design-thinking methodology.
•Strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.
•Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall).
•Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies.
•Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements.
•Deep understanding of the IT landscape in the functional area.
•Extensive experience on SAP modules within FI, CO or Legal related solutions.
•Working knowledge of Business Analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.) is also desirable.
•Experience with effective communication in English at different levels of the organization.
