You will be working with 10 other colleagues in the Procurement Team.
•Acts as owner of the quote and buy results, coordinating with the internal customer procurements early involvement in the needs of the end customer and supports collaboration and alignment with logistics, quality control and activation teams.
•Guarantees the availability of high performance, stable and long-term Suppliers. Owns the FLSmidth contact with the supplier. Ensures the performance of the suppliers assigned to the purchasing category, monitoring the indicators, the NCRs and the AP accounts, acting on the deviations of each supplier, to guarantee that FLSmidth's delivery capacity to final customer is stable and long-term.
•Connects category spending and procurement people across the region to bundle spend and ensure regional alignment and compliance with global directives based on the global procurement
•Ensures the search for the best conditions and opportunities in the supply market corresponding to the assigned categories (carries out Sourcing). Promotes the search for improvements in quality, in delivery times and new savings opportunities with suppliers assigned to the category or with new suppliers, in order to guarantee the best service to the end customer
•Identifies savings initiatives within the category and drives prioritized initiatives in collaboration with country/region procurement managers. Also evaluates the business relevance and priority of savings initiatives considering current and forecasted local business demand.
•Owns the regional Procurement Spend Control (KPI) and Reporting.
•Represents assigned region in strategic sourcing initiatives with Product Line Manager, Engineering, Product Line Procurement and Research & Development and is viewed as a value contributor by the business community in order to represent requirements for the Region.
What you bring
•Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration or others related. Desirable: specialization in Supply Chain
•More than 8 years of experience in strategic purchasing and supply management with strategic suppliers in the mining industry.
•Advanced English (mandatory)
